Heather Losleben-Zeller

Hello, I am Heather Losleben-Zeller. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a certification in Library Science. I am the current Library Media Specialist at Glasgow High School. My job is to inspire students to read for pleasure, information, and ideas and to teach the information literacy skills that encourage life-long learning and responsible citizenship.

Glasgow High School Library
The LMC is a multi-purpose facility presenting a wide range of print, electronic, and audiovisual materials, as well as e-books through Sora. To access Sora Online Library, click on the link below and sign in with your "firstname.lastname" and your four-digit lunch number is your password. In addition, the LMC provides electronic databases, including Opposing Viewpoints and Research in Context. The password for the databases is "glasgow". Other available information formats consist of selected subject magazines and newspapers. The LMC also provides audiovisual projection equipment, a computer lab, and lamination services.
Hours
The facility is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Students may visit the library without a pass before and after school. During the school day, a student can access the library with a pass from academic support, study hall, or work in the library under the supervision of a subject teacher.
The LMC schedule is flexible, with teachers signing up to bring in their classes for orientation, various cooperatively planned research projects, and instruction on using databases and other research tools, both print and electronic.
GHS Book Club
The Book Club meets every second Thursday of the month during lunch in the library.
