  • School Closings/Delays:

The Glasgow School District continues to be closed from March 24, 2020 until April 10, 2020.  This decision came from the Governor of Montana. All spring sports continue to be cancelled during this time as well.

  • Alert:

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center want everyone to know that they are available for any mental health or substance abuse issues an individual may be dealing with.  Our phone number is 228-9349 and it is answered 24-hours a day.

The Montana WARMLINE @ 877-688-3377 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday.  The WARMLINE is a free, confidential service staffed by individuals with experience who understand the behavioral health needs of individuals.  This service provides early crisis intervention. This is NOT a crisis line – responders will refer people who are in crisis to appropriate services.  The WARMLINE was designed by Mental Health America of Montana to offer mental health support. It provides a friendly and understanding person for those who just need someone to talk to.  It is NOT online therapy.

The Montana Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255) is also available.  The Lifeline provides 24/7, free, and confidential support for people in distress.

The Montana Crisis TEXT Line, which can be accessed by texting “MT” to 741741, is available as well.  When a person texts the TEXT Line, a counselor responds within minutes and is available for any behavioral health crisis.

Students and Parents: please refer to my teacher website for more up-to-date information during the school closure.

My name is Shelby Stormer and I am the counselor-in-training at Glasgow Middle School. I have a variety of roles here including individual counseling, group counseling, guidance lesson delivery, assisting with state testing, collaborating with the special education department, and monitoring attendance and academic data.

My goal as a counselor is to help support students through any academic, social and emotional, and college\career readiness needs. I seek to reinforce the goals of GMS by working with parents and other members of the school community to achieve a safe and positive environment for each student.

This is my first year at GMS and I am excited to work with everyone! Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can do to assist your child during their time here at Glasgow Middle School.
